Title of Story: "The Revelation Ch. 1"

My scenario/prediction as to what will lead up to Ethan's revelation:

The wedding is only a 1-day away. Sam and Ethan have just discovered that they are father and son (don't know how that will happen, insert your own ideas here). Julian is enraged, yet he shows a 'softer' side and tells Ethan and Gwen "money means nothing when you have the love." Gwen's parent's disagree with this statement and forbid this marriage from happening. Gwen still loves Ethan and tells him, "I will still marry you, no matter what." They hug and kiss…blah…blah…blah! Ethan, still in shock tells everyone that he needs to go out for a drive; Gwen asks if he would like her to go with him, but he tells her, "No, I just need to be alone right now." So he drives off.

Theresa has actually kept her promise with God, not to break up the wedding and such. All though she still believes that (fate) will be on her side, and Ethan will one day choose her. All the wedding arrangements are done and she is just waiting for the big day to come. (Gwen, to make up for all the trouble she has put her through and to thank her for being such a wonderful person has asked Theresa to be her maid of honor. Since Ethan was there, she couldn't say NO WAY $@*&#!! So she agrees!) It is the day of the wedding. Gwen is worried because she learns that Ethan did not come home last night, after his drive. She gets a phone call from Ivy, which eases her worry and she continues to get ready.

Back at the Lopez-Fitzgerald's, things are also busy. We see Theresa in her room, crying. She can't go through with this. She can't be a part of the wedding. She's about to call Gwen and tell her, when there is a knock at the door. She collects herself (she's wearing the most beautiful dress you can think of (enter dream picture here). She opens the door…. It's Ethan!

Ethan tells her what has happened in the past few hours. She is shocked, but comforts Ethan. She asked what Gwen thinks of all this, and he explains to her that the wedding is still on. "Why are you here then, Ethan?" asks Theresa. who is visibly heartbroken. Ethan tells her that he just had to talk to his closest friend and that he couldn't talk to Gwen because it just wouldn't be the same. He says to her, "You know Theresa, ever since the day I met you-after the whole stalking incidents-I knew I that I had met a kindred spirit. One who I can talk to and have fun with. You are my nearest and dearest friend and I Love You." Theresa cannot believe what is happening. She decides not to go to the wedding, but does not tell anyone. Ethan says he better get ready and leaves.

We are at the church. The wedding is about to begin. Gwen is wondering where Theresa is. She asks Pilar, who knows why Theresa is not there. She tells Gwen, "Theresa came down with the flu and is not well, and she doesn't want to ruin your special day." Gwen is visibly upset, but understands, and she says to Pilar, "I won't choose another maid of honor. Let Theresa know that. Please?" She agrees.

The wedding is underway. Up at the alter, Ethan whispers to Gwen, "Where is Theresa?" She explains and we hear Ethan's voice…(his thoughts…you know the deal)! He says, "I can't believe she isn't here. He flashes back to an earlier conversation they had a few weeks ago, concerning Chuck.

Ethan: It's just a matter of time before you find the right person.
Theresa: I have.
Ethan: Not…Chuck?
Theresa: I'm sorry Ethan. I have all these feelings. And I don't know how to say it and I can't say it. You are a dear friend.
Ethan: Always!
Theresa: But I still can't say this. I can't. If I say these things, it'll change everything! And I just feel really lonely.
Ethan: You're not alone.
Theresa: Yes I am.
Ethan: Theresa, I will always be here for you. Forget about Chuck, you are not alone. You have me…and Gwen, of course. Okay?
Theresa: Okay.

We again here Ethan's voice…. She's my dearest friend. There's a look of shock then…(THE REVELATION)… She's more than that. She's everything. Ethan snaps out of it. He realizes what he has to do. He turns around and tells the congregation, "I'm sorry. (Looking at Gwen)-this isn't right, I have to go!" He runs out. We are now at the Lopez-Fitzgerald's, where we see Theresa still crying, talking to herself. "They've probably already said their "I do's. That's it. This time, FATE didn't step in."

KNOCK, KNOCK! Ethan bursts in and without warning, kisses Theresa and tells her, "I love you Theresa and I am truly sorry for taking so long to realize this. I could have lost you forever." Theresa, needless to say, is dazed and confused by what has happened. "Wha..wha…what?" "I love YOU, Theresa Lopez-Fitzgerald!" "I Love You Too, Ethan Crane. I've always loved you!" Close up on the bewildered face of Ethan. "You've always loved me? Why didn't you say anything?" Theresa thinks to herself, o(I knew it. Now he hates me!). Theresa answers, "I…I…" "You know what, it doesn't matter now." He looks at her, takes his hand and wipes away a tear from her face, takes her face in his hands, leans in, and kisses her.
