Our Passions Volleyball Team -- Lena Cardwell, Galen Gering, James Hyde, Jason Olive, Tracey Ross and Rodney Van Johnson -- made it to the quarterfinals in this past weekend's Models Volleyball Challenge that took place at Will Rogers State Beach. The Passions team played on behalf of three local children's charities, Camp Baywatch, Athletes & Entertainers for Kids and Operation Smile.

Jason Faunt appears beginning this week in the recurring character
of "Carson." Carson is a co- worker of Miguel's on the fishing boats and
they attend Harmony High School together.
Passions will be on hand at the Days of Our Lives vs. Sunset Beach
charity benefit softball game on Saturday, July 31. James Hyde, Dalton
James, Galen Gering, Travis Schuldt and Jesse Metcalfe will sell
concessions, meet and greet the fans and challenge the winner of this game
to a "play-off" game to be scheduled in September. Proceeds from the
upcoming game will also benefit Children of the Night, Days of Our
Lives official charity.
Josh Ryan Evans, who plays Timmy, has just been cast in the role of
the eight year old Grinch in Imagine Entertainment's "The Grinch,"
starring Jim Carrey.
